VoIP..? 3CX?? What do they mean?!

What’s VoIP you ask? Well, here’s the simplified bare-bones answer: VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is a method of communication over a public or private internet connection; as opposed to analogue telephone lines. Now let’s talk about our VoIP partner!

With the basic summary of VoIP in place, let’s now talk about 3CX- they are a company that goes back to 2005, they pioneered a modern and simple-to-use VoIP service that currently boasts 600,000+ customers in 190 countries with 12 global offices! With those numbers… there’s definitely some merit to be found in VoIP provided by 3CX, but what does it provide that warrants such success?

Well, 3CX’s service can be deployed on Windows, Linux, the cloud or hosted by 3CX themselves. Some features in their service include:

  • Video Conferencing
  • Chat & Messaging
  • CRM Integration
  • Hotel PBX

Why is this for you?

So, we’ve talked about VoIP and what 3CX offers, but as the subtitle says: Why is this for you? Why is this a potentially pressing topic for you? Well, Openreach proposes that by December 2025, the old analogue phone network (PSTN) will have reached the end of its life and new, digital services will be in use. So if you rely on these older sertvices, it would be greatly beneficial to shift to a modern system before the shutdown.
